The countdown has begun. 17 days away until the BIG move. 17 days until my life is going to be completely changed, forever. 17 days left in the U.S. where I can call any of my friends in virtually the same time zone, where internet is available anywhere and where I know the language, food, culture, and people. 17 days before I am out of my comfort zone, COMPLETELY! Before my eyes will be opened to what Christ was referring to when He mentioned the least of these. I will be dwelling amidst some of the poorest people in the world. Though I will be in a place surrounded by extreme poverty, I trust this experience will make me extremely wealthy (and I'm not referring to monetary wealth). My team and I will be loving on those the rest of the world has forgotten about. I am not frightened. The Lord has given me a tremendous peace concerning the trip. It's the preparation process that is a bit overwhelming; so much to do still in such a short time. Only 17 days left, though I must take it one day at a time. I must allow the Lord to speak to me and use me right where I am. I must continue to move forward and not let the pace in which everything is happening get the best of me.
