The last couple days have been incredible to say the least. The prayer, support and encouragement I have been receiving from complete strangers has been such a reminder of how we should be as the body of Christ. We are family in Christ and we should pray for each other and commission one another to share the Gospel. Sunday night I was invited by my lovely neighbor and friend to speak at a church plant in Redlands called "Go" where they eat dinner together and meet in a home to have "church." I felt so welcomed and was able to share my heart with people there about what I will be doing in Cambodia. The woman laid hands on me and prayed over me and I was blessed tremendously. The heart of that ministry is incredible, you can feel the burden of the people to be obedient and follow the Lord's call by sending goers. One of the men I met at "Go" so thoughtfully called me the next day and invited me to a group called "Monday Nights" that meets very informally downtown Redlands to fellowship and lift up the name of Jesus. What an inspiring group of young people on fire for the Lord! I was so blessed by their desire to serve the Lord and share the love of Christ with others in such a real way. Everyone there was unique and truly came "naked" before the foot of the cross. They listened while I again was given the opportunity to share the burden the Lord has given me for the girls of Cambodia. I was able to once again be the "voice" of the girls I will be encountering who don't have one. After I shared, they too laid hands on me and prayed protection, guidance, provision, and a renewed intimacy with God. I can not begin to explain what a blessing it has been to meet believers who are so on fire for radically sending people out and selflessly willing to give to make it happen. I have been saturated in prayer and am super pumped about how God is going to continue moving. The last two nights I have met brothers and sisters in Christ who have truly been a reminder of what the church should look like. I have received so much support and know without a doubt that I am prayed for. Because of nights like these, I can continue to move forward with confidence knowing that the Lord my God is with me wherever I go, even in good ol' Redlands California : )

To those of you who I met in the last couple nights who are reading this, thank you! May the Lord bless you and keep you always.
