Things are finally coming together!!! Departure in 8 more days, last minute responsibilities are being taken care of and bags are getting packed. This entire process has been a little overwhelming to say the least. My ENTIRE family decided to move this summer, Mom & Jerry to Japan, brother to Finland and baby sis to New York. I was left to take care of everything they couldn’t manage to fit in before they left, which was A LOT! After 5 yard sales, selling cars, preparing for Cambodia, taking care of the house, balancing relationships and other responsibilities here and there, I’ve just wanted to be gone already. BUT, God has taught me in the midst of all that to be present in each moment. Not to close my eyes or faint too quickly because even in the craziness, God has given me assignments. Not for a moment should I turn away because that may be the very moment in which my words can be an encouragement to someone in need. When I feel like frowning, that very moment someone may need a smile or hug that would change the course of their entire day. I can NOT live life selfishly. I must be present in every moment and cease every opportunity to bring God the Glory.

Even though at times I’ve felt alone and wished my family was here, God did not forget about me. Even with so much going on, He has sent helpers to walk alongside me, encourage me, and help me accomplish everything I’ve needed to do. Margaret and Wendell Green have been an incredible help to me. They truly took me under their wing and have provided support, love and motivation. Thank you Jesus for taking care of us exactly when we need you! Thank you for bringing peace to the weary and wrestless. Thank you for exchanging my heavy burdens for yours and giving me rest.
