Earlier this year, I prayed for an increase in faith. March of 2010 was when the opportunity to go to Cambodia was presented. By May of 2010 I was ready to give up because of how difficult the process appeared. All summer support raising was a struggle and I had no idea how to go about any of it. After much wrestling, uncertainty, lies of the enemy, discouragement, fears and doubts, I am here.

About this time last week I sent out an e-mail and posted a blog entitled "URGENT." I had one week to raise a little over $6,000 to be 60% funded so I could fly out with the rest of my team by the end of October. In the midst of the uncertainty, I had peace unspeakable. I had just watched God provide for my teammate Stephanie the week before. I knew God was going to provide for me in a mighty way. With all that said, after selling my car relying on that money to pay my way, God laid it upon the hearts of His people to raise the money on my behalf. Yesterday I received a phone call informing me that due to the the obedience of a few individuals, their sacrifice supplied the exact amount I needed. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! God sure knows how to give good gifts to those who ask Him!

I am now 66% funded and am believing the Lord to provide 100% of my funding by the end of the month. I know He can do it!

I am scheduled to fly out of LAX Sat, Oct. 30th at 12am and will arrive in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with my team Sun, Oct. 31st at 10:40pm. Total trip time of 32 hours and 30 min. Wow, I really am flying across the world to an unknown land. How exciting!

Lesson learned: When we are faithful in the little, God is faithful in abundance! All we have to do is trust!
